Ephesians 4:13-16
King James Version (KJV)
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Ephesians 4:13-16
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. 14 As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; 15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
13 We are to be united by our faith in Jesus. We are not too united with the world but only those who call Christ Lord. We who share this knowledge should not be divided from one another but be united against being separated from the world.
14 As children in Christ, we are not mature. Those who are new believers are to face the struggles of this world but these struggles will bring them spiritually growth. They need not to worry about doctrine but only concern themselves with understanding the gospel and God’s will after doing this they then will grow so they can understand doctrine. The young believers are going to face challengers by false teachers, this is why those who are mature Christians should help them and advise them to prevent them for falling for the wrongs teachings out their.
15 Thru Christ we grow by faith thru truth and love. By growing in Christ we will receive a better understanding of the truth and of His love. This if we truly are growing will bring us closer to Him because we will see our need for Him. Christ is the head and we should look to Him for guidance.
16 If we are not being lead by Christ then we are missing everything. Christ is to lead the church this takes it out of man’s hands because man is corrupt and has his own will but by Christ we are made pure and know we should follow His will. No true church will go after any will but the will of the Lord. The Lord’s will should be what the church seeks to do and need to rely on Him to do so.
Better to be a servant of the King than to be a king in hell.
Moss:
Maturity in Christ is not something that happens the moment you are saved. It comes by opening up your heart to Christ and allowing Him to lead you on the path He has ordained for you. You cannot just come to church every Sunday and go home and resume your normal life and expect to grow to be a mature member of His body.
Once we have study Christ's word with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will not easily be swinging from one doctrine to another because we will know the true meaning of His word. If more members of the church were to concentrate on becoming mature Christians there would be less controversy over the true meaning of what a Godly biblical church should be.
Unfortunately some of us will never mature and become a proper functioning member of the whole. One weak brother will easily mislead others that are weak in their knowledge of the true message left to us by Christ, splitting the congregation.
