30 years old was the common age to start ministry or service to the Lord, it gave time to learn the word and truly understand it.

This line starts with Joseph most likely because he was his father in laws heir because his father in law had no sons.

This line is most likely of Mary and unlike Matthew’s goes to Adam, Jesus us the second Adam.

Very important that Obed is in the blood line because he was the son of Ruth and this Was the adoption of a gentile on to the vine.

From what I understand Matthew is Mary's and Luke is Joseph's.

Other way around, Luke's is Mary's line. In Joseph's line there is a man named Jeconiah, also called Coniah, who was cursed by God. No offspring of Jeconiah could ever set on the throne of David.

Jeremiah 22:30 "Thus says the LORD, 'Write this man down childless, A man who will not prosper in his days; For no man of his descendants will prosper Sitting on the throne of David Or ruling again in Judah.' "

Hahaha I know where you are trying to lead this because we're seen it before.

If you say that only Mary's lineage counts and her lineage is must be proven to show Jesus is the Christ, then you have to first concede Christ virgin birth.
