 Hi and the Body of Christ is first mention by Paul and only Paul !!

 When this question is asked , the answers are all over the map , so what does the bible say by ;

#3 , GRAMMATICALLY

#6 ,  Phil 1:10

 Turn to 1 Tim 1:15 and 16 , as the Context is Grace and the Dispensation of Grace .

"  That Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am  PROTOS/FIRST ."


Verse 16 says ,  " in order  that in me  FIRST/PROTOS   Christ Jesus might show forth all longsuffering for a  PATTERN  of the ones coming to believe on Him unto everlasting life .


So , we see that SAUL was saved by Grace and the  FIRST/PROTOS  one in the Body of Christ , dan p

Paul tells us that the Church (the body of Christ) existed before the Earth.

2 Tim 4:3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

 I am am not talking about Jesus phyical body but Christ's mystical Body where are saved member are put into with Christ as the Head as Col 1:18 says !!   dan p

 Hi , and Paul say that we were  chosen  "  in Christ "   before the Overthrow of the world .

 Church is not mentioned in Eph 1:4 .

 EKKLESIA ,  does not mean Church !!
