Is This Popular View of Marriage Completely Unbiblical?
« on: May 11, 2017, 05:51:36 pm »
Do you remember a while back when the media in America was asking whether marriage was only between a man and a woman? Even some of the best and brightest in Christianity were duped into answering a question that, even in its formation, limited the Christian definition of marriage.

Marriage being a trinity between God, man and woman is what separates a Christian definition of marriage from every version or perversion of marriage any culture or individual can decide upon.

From a Christian perspective, marriage is not and never has been between a man and a woman. A Christian marriage, as shown in Genesis 1 and 2, is between God, a man and a woman.

When a culture or individuals remove God from marriage, anything can occur. After all, in some cultures, beating one's wife is a normal practice. Regardless of cultural belief, when you or I believe that marriage is just between a man and a woman, the fruit of this secular idea will show up in our marriages.......
Newsflash: Marriage is not just between a man and a woman; it is between God, a man and a woman. He makes the rules, not the humans in the marriage.

It is absolutely true that marriage is a three-way covenant. Unfortunately even Christian couples forget that God takes part in their vows. The family unit is the glue that holds the community together, and the communities are the glue that holds the nation together. Unfortunately for America the government has been successful in breaking up the family by going after marriage itself, and changing the definition thereby diluting the glue that holds the foundation together.

You mentioned the definition of the family, that definition has been removed by the government. You cannot have a family when both spouses are of the same sex. Same-sex marriage does not make a family, it only makes sexual perversion acceptable. There is a purpose in marriage and that purpose is not for sexual satisfaction.
