11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

11 The next day Yeshua, accompanied by his talmidim and a large crowd, went to a town called Na‘im. 12 As he approached the town gate, a dead man was being carried out for burial. His mother was a widow, this had been her only son, and a sizeable crowd from the town was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, he felt compassion for her and said to her, “Don’t cry.”

11 At this point the crowds were going around with Jesus, they would end up leaving later because they didn’t like His hard teachings.

12 This would have been the son that would have cared her since her husband had died, she cant do anything now because she cant own her home or work, her last hope died. Often times Jesus acts when we have no where else to turn.

13 Jesus was there to fix things, it hurts Him for us to cry but sometimes we have to.

Thank you dear 'clark thompson', a legitimate incident for thought, Scripture for doctrine in regards faith.

In this incident, among many in the Gospel and in Acts, non individuals acted in faith for the sons life back to the mother. But the LORD's compassion moved towards the widow and her cry, prior to have already lost her husband once, and now her only son, who would have taken care of her after the father's death. And too mentioned there was a sizeable crowd with her who followed her to the burial place. But JESUS on His own moved with compassion for her, and brought the son back to life.   

JESUS did disciple His chosen disciples that to emphasis on orphans and widows and be compassionate to them. for their cries are heard by the FATHER.

In Israel that day according to the Gospel, JESUS did not go around healing and reviving everyone. Even in the incident of the Pool called 'Bethesda', there lay a great multitude of 'impotent folks'. But JESUS' compassion moved only towards 'one' man, who was impotent for 38 years.

But in regards to the 'widow' who wept for her son, and in another, where Martha and Mary wept for Lazarus, and where here He himself wept with them, whereby he moves in compassion towards them and give them 'comfort' in return.

For it is written and taught by CHRIST JESUS our LORD Himself, and as in quote;

"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."

May GOD the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST be praised, be thanked and be honored forever and ever. Amen.
