YOU WILL SURELY DIE



But from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.". (Gen. 2:17 )

 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate. (Gen. 3:6 )

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom. 6:23 )

 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. (Rom. 5:17 )

 For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. (1 Cor. 15:21, 22 )

 but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, (2 Tim. 1:10 )

And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. (1 John 5:11, 12 )

"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:17 )

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.(John 6:33)

Amen. Sin causes death. So as soon as Eve, then Adam disobeyed God and ate the fruit of the forbidden tree they immediately died, spiritually. This brought death to all mankind born after. All of mankind are dead in sin because of Adam and Eve's sin in the garden. This means every single person in the world deserves to be punished in hell. But then God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son into the world to be punished for our sins so we wouldn't have to. What Love! Jesus is life and the light of the world.

"In Him was life and the life was the Light of men"

"I am the way, the Truth and the Life, No man cometh unto the Father but by me."(Jesus)

So when we receive Jesus He completely wipes away all of our sins and reconciles us to God and gives immortality so that we will never die. Only those who receive Jesus have Life. All those who reject Jesus are walking dead people.

"The light of the body is the eye, if therefore thine eye be single thy whole body shall be full of light; but if thine eye be evil thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in the be darkness how great is that darkness." (Jesus)

Since Jesus is the light of the world the only way to be 100% full of Light is to believe in Jesus. Only those who believe in Jesus are full of light and life and truth because Jesus has washed away all their sin making them free from sin. Everybody else is 100% full of evilness and darkness and death because they haven't received Jesus and so they're still full of sin.
