Psalms 46:2-4
(1/1)
Fat:
--- Quote ---”Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling places of the Most High.”
Psalms 46:2-4 NASB
--- End quote ---
We as mere humans look at the mountains and seas as stable and everlasting, unchanging through history. We don’t see things through the eyes of eternity only through the eyes the short existence of mankind.
God and His eternity shall never pass and unlike the earth it will remain after the seas have dried up and the mountains have fallen.
The river of eternal life flows from Jesus Christ, the Living Water.

Verses like this remind me that I have no way to even comprehending how long eternity is. It easy to say but try to imagine that it will out last the earth and the whole universe.
