Luke 7:39-41 King James Version (KJV)
39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
Luke 7:39-41 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
39 When the Parush who had invited him saw what was going on, he said to himself, “If this man were really a prophet, he would have known who is touching him and what sort of woman she is, that she is a sinner.” 40 Yeshua answered, “Shim‘on, I have something to say to you.” “Say it, Rabbi,” he replied. 41 “A certain creditor had two debtors; the one owed ten times as much as the other.

39 Jesus knew what type of woman this was and he still loved her and knew she was seeking forgiveness because of her sin.
40 Simon was a Pharisee but he also saw Jesus as a teacher, it is likely that he may have later became a Christian but was not yet a full follower of Jesus because of him still being a Pharisee.
41 Both debts in this story are big but one is impossible to pay and the other is hard to pay. No mater how much sin we have, we don’t have in us what can pay the debt only Jesus paid the debt.

Hello Clark
Concerning verse 41.
There is no one that is capable of paying back the debt owed to Jesus Christ. Not the small debtor nor the large debtor is capable of satisfying the debt we owe our Savior. There is no amount of works or fancy ceremonies that can repay the gift you have been given of salvation. No amount of money, no burnt offerings can pay back for what has been given to you freely.
Unwrap gift and say thank you.🎁

The Pharisees assumed that a prophet would not associate with sinners. So ask yourself who then could a prophet associated with?
