Help me to meditate more intently on your humility and patience, O my Savior, so that almost unconsciously these traits may reappear in my own character.
I pray to you, O Lord, to give me a ready sympathy with others, that I may look at things from their standpoint and see myself as they see me.
Show me today, O Lord, that one to whom I am to give a cup of cold water in your name.
