O true and living Vine, make me fruitful today in good works to do your will. You have given me a desire for a holy life; accomplish this by the grace of your Spirit dwelling in me and working through me continually.
Give to me the pilgrim spirit I must have to be in the world, but not of it. Give me grace to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul. May I always obey my heavenly calling.
Open to me, O Spirit of Truth, the treasures of your holy Word, that my soul may be continually enriched, and that I may abound in every good word and work.
O gracious Giver of all things, enable me ever to remember that whatever you have given is a sacred trust to be held and used for others. May I have the humble consciousness that I have glorified you on the earth and finished the work which you gave me to do.
