Heavenly Father! Forgive my many sins, ignorances, and failures and cleanse me from all sin for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Accept me graciously, and love me freely. May I hate sin as you do, and may your grace sink deeper into my heart, purifying the springs of thought and action.
Let me not be satisfied with refraining from sin; but as I abide in you, may I bear the fruits of the Spirit, which are love, joy, and peace. Lord, I cannot hope to sit on your right or your left hand in your kingdom, nor to lean on your bosom, but at least permit me to sit at your feet and hear your word.
