I grew up with the KJV and it served me well, HOWEVER….
It is not the most accurate translation. Take for instance
“And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after
Easter to bring him forth to the people.”
Acts 12:4 KJV
No other translation ever uses the word Easter, the word should be Passover. Easter was a secular holiday.
