It is true there's no command the new testament to tithe 10%, but we are commanded to give freely and we are told we will be blessed for doing so. So the question is do you love your neighbor or do you love your money?Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure -pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return."
Matt. 10:8 "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
Matt. 5:42 "Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you.
Rom. 15:26 For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. 27 Yes, they were pleased to do so, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.
