"Our Father which art in heaven."--Matthew 6:9.
Fat:
I'm kind of intrigued that the use of the Lord's prayer by an un-believer may be blasphemy.
If this was true then a preacher leading his congregation in the Lords prayer would be taking a big chance. Any preacher worth his salt has to realize that there are nonbelievers within his congregation. Wouldn't that mean that the preacher would be facilitating a nonbeliever to blaspheme our Lord?

1) I haven't heard the Lord's Prayer given as a congregational prayer in years.
2) if an unbeliever is searching for a way to pray to God and finds this prayer and uses it, it would not seem to me that God would be affended.
clark thompson:
Saying any prayer without it coming from our heart through our mouth and out is not bibilcal. We should pour our hearts out in prayer.
