What has Hades got to do with the Church?

The power of hell to condemn the soul is destroyed by justification by the perfection of Christ that comes by faith. Matt. 16:18 does not indicate, as some say, that physical survival of the body, or of the church on earth, is guaranteed.

When Christ spoke those words to Peter He was teaching him that the Church will be such a force upon the earth that even Hades will not prevail against it....the Church shall fulfill its goals right until the end.
