These are my thoughts, please share yours.
1 It was God’s will that Paul become an apostle to the gentiles. It was God’s will that Paul become the most effective and known person in the New Testament other than Christ. It was God’s will that Paul would write more books in the New Testament than anyone else. It is by God’s will that we ourselves come to faith in Him. We should seek after God’s will like Paul did. Our lives should be devoted to following God’s will. Paul writes this letter to the believers in Ephesus, this was not to a church of Ephesus but the church in Ephesus. Their may have been many small groups of believers coming together in secret, due to Christianity being illegal at this time. We are to be made faithful in Jesus and follow His will.
2 Grace and peace both come from our relationship with the Father which comes thru having received the blood of Jesus our Lord. Jesus is our Lord and because of this we can go to the Father by Him. Paul here remains them briefly of what Jesus did; rebuild the relationship with the Father.
Better to be a servant of the King than to be a king in hell.
