For whom the LORD loves He reproves, Even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. (Prov. 3:12 )
See now that I, I am He, And there is no god besides Me; It is I who put to death and give life. We all as believers will come to know this after some time because we all will sin.

Discipline is very important in raising a child discipline is hard to accomplish without both the mother and father present in the home.

I think we have all seen children are not disciplined and allowed to run wild on their own, later on running afoul of society's laws. It is only a natural progression of an undisciplined child.
