Ephesians 1:19-23

King James Version (KJV)

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Ephesians 1:19-23

New King James Version (NKJV)

19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

19 His power is great and we as believers came to know this truth. He is our power and strength. His power will strength us for His works and will.

20 The same Spirit that raised Christ from the grave will raise us from our flesh to be His servants. Christ is in power and control. While things may happen outside the will of God, He is in control of all. The church is of heavenly origin that being founded by the Lord.

21 All kingdoms and powers will fall but Christ’s has not and will not fall but remain forever and always. There comes a time God loses patience with those of the world and puts and end to their power and kingdom. Christ kingdom is a Spiritually Kingdom but one day it will become an earthly Kingdom as well.

22 All things are under His control, the church just accepts He is in control and chooses to be obedient to His will than to fight His will. The world can do things that appear to be good but there is only one good and without them going to Him they are not good nor are their works good. We can be made good by the blood of Christ, if we receive it, if not we are no good and will be judged as the sinners we are. Grace is pure and is what God wants for all. God does not want any to be judged, this is why Christ came.

23 The church is to be the body of Christ in His absence from the world and should live as He would and do things that He would. The church often times does not mirror Christ as good as they should.

Better to be a servant of the King than to be a king in hell.

God has shown his power to fulfill the promise is made to us. He is doing this to the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave.
The resurrection that was demonstrated by the resurrection of Christ is available to all that ask and believe. You will become part of the church of Christ, the body of Christ, and you will reign forever.
