Ephesians 2:4-7

King James Version (KJV)

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:4-7

New King James Version (NKJV)

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

4 God has mercy which allows us to be given what we deserve. By mercy we are not sentenced us to death but gives us life for the chance to accept Him as Lord. It by mercy our sins are covered by the blood of Christ and are forgotten by God. God loves us more than any other God loved us so much that He became born only to die for us. He loved us so much He left glory to be killed by those who denied Him. He loves us so much have gave grace which is giving us what we do not deserve which is heaven and a personally relationship with Him.

5 We were bound by sin and He still loved us even then. He knows everything we do and think and still loves us. We were dead thru sin but are now made alive by Him. It is not by our actions but by His that we are saved.

6 We are given glory which we do not deserve. We deserve hell but by mercy we are spared hell and thru grace we receive glory.

7 We may be poor by the world’s standards but are made rich thru Him. We are made princes and princesses thru Him. We are made rich by the Spirit. We have a Father who owns the cattle of a thousand hills. He has met or needs and made us so blessed. His loves makes us rich.

Better to be a servant of the King than to be a king in hell.

Think about it, we have never made ourselves worthy of His sacrifice. We were still His enemy yet he died for us.

His grace is the biggest miracle that has been performed in the Scriptures, yet when people list His miracles it not numbered among them.

Read these verses keeping in mind that you have been adopted into God's family. God the Father is raising His family so one day we will all be to gather under His roof.
