Isn't it about time that we know what these things really mean?

Isn't it about time that we know what these things really mean?

Rev 17:16  And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

1. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast,

Rev 12:3  And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Notice that the wonder appeared in heaven. This is not upon the earth, this is going on in heaven. The reason I'm showing this is to make it easy to see that this beast has these ten horns, but that the beast is in heaven. This is the last age. The seven heads are actual kings with dominions because the crowns are on the heads, not on the horns. Horns are representative of power, whereas heads are representative of kings. These ten horns are actually associated with the seven kingdoms.

Rev 13:1  And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Notice that this beast rises out of the sea. The sea is a sea of people. This is on earth, not in heaven. This beast also has seven heads, but the power (or horns) does not belong to these kings, so they don't have crowns. The crowns are on the horns. The power behind these kings comes from the beast that was in heaven. These horns are given power 'as' kings for one hour with the beast. The blasphemy upon the heads is that this beast is of satan and claims that satan is GOD.

Rev 17:12  And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

So, these 10 horns are ten kings that have no kingdom. They have no kingdom because they come with satan to earth and receive power 'as' kings for one hour (the hour of temptation) with the beast.
That would mean that they are fallen angels that get cast out of heaven along with satan by Michael and his angels.

Rev 12:7  And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Rev 12:8  And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

2. these shall hate the whore,

Why do these ten horns hate the whore? Because the whore is GOD'S children whoring after anti CHRIST. She thinks satan is JESUS as satan plays out his deception. Of course satan and his fallen angels would hate her. They are GOD'S children! It's just that GOD'S children would rather be buttered up from some soothsaying preacher and give their money to him and not have to put all that effort to study GOD'S WORD and actually read that letter from GOD and get to know HIS Voice.

2Th 2:1  Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2Th 2:2  That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2Th 2:5  Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

I wonder if that might make GOD angry?

2Th 2:6  And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
2Th 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

2Th 2:6 and 7 says that the one that lets is Michael. So, Micheal lets until it's time for satan to be taken out of the way.

2Th 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

So, in verses 2Th 2:8 through 12, GOD sends those children a delusion to believe satan. Why? Because they are unrighteous and enjoying it! They are worshiping satan and are so happy that their savior has returned. How much more unrighteous can you get?

3. and make her desolate

Mat 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Anyone or place that is without GOD is desolate. You can be sure that worshiping satan is a state of desolation.

4. and naked,

Rev 19:8  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

The clothing that we wear in Heaven is made of our righteous acts.
When the whore worships the devil, these ten horns will strip her of every righteous act she has ever had and since she now has no righteous acts because she worships satan, she is naked.

5. and shall eat her flesh.,

Joh_6:51  I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Joh_6:52  The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
Joh_6:53  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Joh_6:58  This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

1Co 11:24  And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

When the ten horns eat her flesh, they are converting her to satan. They are no longer TRUE Christians.

6. and burn her with fire.

Deu_4:24  For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
Heb_12:29  For our God is a consuming fire.

2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

They will burn her with the devils fake fire. That means they, along with satan will deceive the whore into believing that satan is GOD.

The whore is Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion....It was at Babylon, more than 4,000 years ago, that Jehovah confused the tongues of the would-be builders of the Tower of Babel. The different language groups were scattered to the ends of the earth, taking with them the apostate beliefs and practices that are the basis of most religions to this day. (Genesis 11:1-9) Babylon the Great is the religious part of Satan’s organization. (Compare John 8:43-47.) Her most prominent segment today is apostate Christendom, which emerged as a powerful, lawless organization in the fourth century after Christ, with creeds and formalisms derived, not from the Bible, but largely from Babylonish religion.—2 Thessalonians 2:3-12.

The angel tells us that “Babylon the Great . . . made all the nations drink of the wine of the anger of her fornication.” What does this mean? It relates to conquest. For example, Jehovah told Jeremiah: “Take this cup of the wine of rage out of my hand, and you must make all the nations to whom I am sending you drink it. And they must drink and shake back and forth and act like crazed men because of the sword that I am sending among them.” (Jeremiah 25:15, 16) In the sixth and seventh centuries B.C.E., Jehovah used ancient Babylon to pour out a symbolic cup of tribulation for many nations to drink, including apostate Judah, so that even his own people were taken into exile. Then, in her turn, Babylon fell because her king exalted himself against Jehovah, “the Lord of the heavens.”—Daniel 5:23.
Babylon the Great has also made conquests, but for the most part, these have been more subtle. She has “made all the nations drink” by using the wiles of a prostitute, committing religious fornication with them. She has enticed political rulers into alliances and friendships with her. Through religious allurements, she has schemed political, commercial, and economic oppression. She has fomented religious persecution and religious wars and crusades, as well as national wars, for purely political and commercial reasons. And she has sanctified these wars by saying they are God’s will.
Religion’s involvement in the wars and politics of the 20th century is common knowledge—as in Shinto Japan, Hindu India, Buddhist Vietnam, “Christian” Northern Ireland and Latin America, as well as others—not to overlook the army chaplains’ part on both sides of the two world wars in urging young men to slaughter one another. A classic example of the philandering of Babylon the Great is the share she had in the Spanish Civil War of 1936-39, in which at least 600,000 people were killed. This bloodspilling was provoked by supporters of the Catholic clergy and their allies, in part because the wealth and position of the church was threatened by Spain’s legal government.
Since Babylon the Great is the religious part of Satan’s seed, she has always made Jehovah’s “woman,” “Jerusalem above,” her main target. In the first century, the congregation of anointed Christians was clearly identified as the woman’s seed. (Genesis 3:15; Galatians 3:29; 4:26) Babylon the Great tried hard to conquer that chaste congregation by seducing it into committing religious fornication. The apostles Paul and Peter warned that many would succumb and a great apostasy would result. (Acts 20:29, 30; 2 Peter 2:1-3) Jesus’ messages to the seven congregations indicated that toward the end of John’s life, Babylon the Great was making some progress in her efforts to corrupt. (Revelation 2:6, 14, 15, 20-23) But Jesus had already shown how far she would be permitted to go.

Fat,
Here is a view of JW theology you might explore. The NWT claimed Christ to be a god (John 1:1) they at the same time claim Christ to be  Michael the  Archangel  The conclusion that can be drawn from that is that all angels are gods. Does that make God an angel?

You can't use logic with a cult.
