Enrich me, O Lord, by the many gifts of your Holy Spirit, that I, patiently enduring through the darkness of this world, and being filled by your heavenly grace, may become a burning and shining light until the day dawns and the shadows flee away.
Fix my heart, O Lord, on you, that amid the changes and chances of this mortal life I may be kept steadfast and immovable, ever abounding in your work.
