Luke 2:13-14

Luke 2:13-14
KJV 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

MSTC 13 And straightway there was with the angel a multitude of heavenly soldiers, lauding God, and saying, 14 "Glory to God on high: and peace on the earth, and unto men, rejoicing."

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

13 The angles knew exactly what was happening and the demons and Satan would learn and later fear the day because of Christ’s coming. Angles give God praise we will have the chance to do so and keep doing so without end. For the angels to come to give praise would have shown these shepherds how important this truly was, not just a prophet coming but the Lord’s arrival.

14 Jesus came for many things but one was to bring glory to God because of Him coming and receiving Him we can continue to give God glory. God is in heaven but He also was at this time on earth as well as Jesus. Jesus brought peace with men and God not between men and men as the Jews hoped for thru Jesus we can have a peace with the Lord.

Better to a servant of the King than to be a king in hell.

On  the phrase, peace on earth and goodwill towards men.

Remember our childhood favorite verse, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.“

Christ was a gift to the those who would believe. A gift of God’s grace and peace. Not the peace we can acquire here on earth but the peace that is known only in God’s Kingdom.

There will be peace on earth for 1000 years after His return.
But a thousand years is a blink of an eye when you are talking eternity.
Look forward to the peace of His Kingdom.

Not the peace we can acquire here on earth but the peace that is known only in God's Kingdom.

You can have that peace on earth, but it is an internal that is only for the elect. And it is the peace of God's Kingdom, Hallelujah.
