Justification not by works
« on: January 21, 2018, 12:58:11 AM »

Job 25:4 "How then can a man be just with God? Or how can he be clean who is born of woman?

Isa 45:25 "In the LORD all the offspring of Israel Will be justified and will glory."

Rom  9:31 but Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, did not arrive at [that] law.
32. Why? Because [they did] not [pursue it] by faith, but as though [it were] by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone,

Job 9:2  "In truth I know that this is so; But how can a man be in the right before God?
3. "If one wished to dispute with Him, He could not answer Him once in a thousand [times].

Rom 3:20 because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law [comes] the knowledge of sin.

Gal 2:16  nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

Gal 3:11  Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, "THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."

Isa 53:11 As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see [it and] be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, As He will bear their iniquities.

Rom 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath [of God] through Him.

Rom 8:1  Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Rom 8:30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

Rom 8:33-Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies;

1 Cor 6:11 . Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
