HOLY CONFIRMATION: The Sacrament of PENTECOST!

HOLY CONFIRMATION: The Sacrament of PENTECOST!

"Jesus Christ instituted the sacrament of confirmation to
more perfectly bind the baptized into the Church and enrich
them with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. In the
western Church, a bishop generally administers this sacrament
to teenagers, although it can be given later. The sacrament
includes a renewal of baptismal promises, reading of
Scripture, and anointing of chrism oil on the forehead.

In my opinion, the only reason they find this necessary is because of the practice of infant baptism.

Interesting, "renewal of baptismal promises," I guess that might be a problem if you were an infant at baptism.

Now this is indeed a very interesting one which the churches of Christendom use, abuse and have no conception of at all!

When Jesus was baptized by the Holy Spirit, he was empowered after his raising up as an immortal spirit creature and divine one; to anoint all those he had previously chosen on earth and many over the centuries who would become part of the 'chosen' flock later.

Now the actual sacraments were inaugurated at the 'last' supper in the upper room in Jerusalem for those who were to share both his death and his eventual raising up into heaven. As this was the parallel of the passover in Egypt to which the Apostle Paul confirmed: "Christ our passover has been sacrificed." (1 Corinthians 5:7) it was therefore only to be repeated 'once' a year on that date the fourteenth day of Nisan.

Later at Pentecost in 33 CE he caused the Holy Spirit to be poured out in the form of tongues of flame on about 120 of those gathered there. Now here was the confirmation of that which took place in the upper room with Jesus but still only applied to those of this select group.

Now this taking of the sacraments of the wine and the bread is reserved for his anointed ones only, no one else; and even then only to be performed on the fourteenth day of Nisan. The reason being that only those who were to be of the 'first' resurrection which is 'heavenly; were to partake of the sacraments.

Since then, the Trinitarian Catholic Church followed by most of the churches of Christendom, provide the taking of  the sacraments many times a week for anyone who wishes to partake irrespective of their calling!
This has also extended to readings and administering of oil, but actually confirming their dedication to a calling which they still do not understand!

What is just as disturbing, at funerals certain words are read from the scriptures such as 'our corrupt bodies shall be turned into a glorious body and we shall be like him.' his of course is again incorrect, which they continue to contradict as they state: "Earth to earth, ashes to ashes and dust to dust ; in the sure and certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life." leaving off the last four words: "On the last day." which is stated by Martha to Jesus. (John 11:24) In other wards the general 'earthly' resurrection of all mankind.

What we do in our church is that the newborn infants are dedicated to the church by the parents. The parents take an oath to raise the kids biblically. Only the child or the individual can request his own salvation, It can't be done by anybody else.
