I agree that form prayer is not prayer but Spurgeon should have pointed out sometimes God answers prayer with a No! As Paul testified to.

I dont understand.  :-\
Prayer is a large comprehensive topic that cannot be covered in one sermon. I think he wanted to concentrate on sincerity and communion with God.

It is just that whenever you discuss God answering payer you must make sure that people understand that the answer is not always what you want to hear. If you pray for God's will to be done as Christ did, you will find that your will and God's does not always match up 100%.
