Does anyone know if the Church of England still teaches this. Spurgeon sounds like he though than many in the church didn't believe it at that time.

I read once that their belief was that Baptism only came with faith. In other words if an unbeliever went through the act of water baptism he was not baptized. Maybe that was just an anglican way of avoiding the question.  ;D
