Can a JPG photo be uploaded as an Avatar
« on: March 30, 2019, 07:15:18 am »
I guess my first request didn't go through because I added a jpg attachment?

Question remains the same, Can a jpg photo be uploaded as an Avatar and how
is it done?

Thanks
John

Thanks Hal, I did as you stated but still received this error message?

Error message
The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved. Image is 30.6KB

I could try to add an attachment to this reply, but most likely I would get the same error?

Thanks
John

Sorry Thorndale, you got me thinking and I don’t recall ever seeing anyone using an avatar. Maybe adindude has it disabled or broken. He usually reads all the posts on the board so if he has a solution I would expect him to have the  courtesy say something 😡

What does that mean?

Should the offer to upload an Avatar image from a file be deleted if it won't work?

Thanks
John
