The Connecticut school massacre
« on: December 15, 2012, 04:24:29 pm »
I was on another board where somebody was offering a prayer to the children that were killed in the Connecticut massacre. A second party came on and immediately attacked the first poster, saying this massacre is a proof that there is no God, because there was a God he would've not allow it to happen.
It is obvious that the person making the comment claiming that there was no God has never study the Scriptures. It is also obvious that he does not recall that America as a society has kicked God out of the schools and the public square.
Why is it that man feels God owes him anything? God tells us that when man turns his back on Him He will allow man wallow in his own sin. He allows man to be turned over to his real nature which is total depravity. What really amazes me about these people is that they have no problem with America murdering 55 million unborn children and then they turn around and complain of the mass murder being water boarded to prevent other innocent people from dying.

The old debate on who owes who what.
If it were a true balance sheet man would have nothing on his side of the ledger but red ink.

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
