The Kingdom is of Christ.

The Kingdom is of Christ.

Matthew 16: 28 "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."

Luke 22: 30  that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Luke 23: 42  And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!"

John 18: 36  Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm."

Hebrews 1: 8  But of the Son He says, "YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM.

Revelation 11: 15  Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever."

The Kingdom is of Christ.

Matthew 16: 28 "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."[/quote]

They saw the son of man coming in His kingdom at Pentecost and afterwards, Jesus having been raised and crowned according to Dan 7.13-14.

they ate and drank at His table in His kingly rule when they partook of the Lord's Supper, and the Apostles 'sat on their thrones' ruling the new Jewish church.

Luke 23: 42  And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!"

This was of course the view of an outsider who had not heard Jesus' teaching. Knowing that Jesus was the Messiah he prayed from what knowledge he had.

For His kingly rule was over those who responded and believed in Him. It was a spiritual kingdom.

Hebrews 1: 8  But of the Son He says, "YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM.

Here Jesus is seen as crowned in accordance with  Acts 2.30, 36.

Revelation 11: 15  Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever."

This refers to the final everlasting kingdom that He will introduce. Praise God.
