Understanding the basis of our conflict
« on: December 19, 2015, 04:35:52 am »
To appreciate all that is happening in the world around us today, it is necessary to go back to the Garden of Eden.
Man was given everything necessary to live forever on paradise earth.
What purpose did God give to man?
To take care of the paradise home he had provided....(Genesis 2:15) Jehovah God took the man and settled him in the garden of Eʹden to cultivate it and to take care of it.
To fill the earth and prosper....(Genesis 1:28) . . .Further, God blessed them, and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the earth.”

What happened to this paradise and the prospects of living forever in this paradise?
(Genesis 2:16, 17) . . .And Jehovah God also laid this command upon the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”
Disobedience..........
Simply put, disobedience lost paradise earth and life eternal in such.....at least temporarily... God's purpose has NEVER changed.

So God made the first prophetic statement that is soon to become the reality and paradise conditions will become restored....(Genesis 3:15) And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring. He will crush your head, and you will strike him in the heel.”
Satan will soon be crushed.

The purpose of MAN was not to be a gardener, the purpose of MAN was to obey God and not to eat of the forbidden fruit. Both Man and the Garden could and do exists without each other. By obeying this one command he (MAN) brought glory to his creator (John 1:1-3)

Amen, Satan will be crushed. What is funny, is that Satan was the one that lead Christ to the cross, did he not understand the prophesy or was he as ignorant of its meaning Asa the Jews?

Interesting, we know that Satan knows the scriptures and has heard the prophecy of Christ from Gen 3 on though the Old Testament and if he did understand it it would make sense that he would want to keep Him from the cross. Remember that Jesus referred to Peter as Satan when he tried to stop Jesus from going to the cross.

I believe that God wants all of His creation to glorify Him. In the end even the defeat of Satan will show God's power and show that His name is above all.
