Luke 7:22-23 King James Version (KJV)
22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Luke 7:22-23 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

22 So he answered them by saying, “Go, tell Yochanan what you have been seeing and hearing: the blind are seeing again, the lame arewalking, people with tzara‘at are being cleansed, the deaf are hearing, the dead are being raised, the Good News is being told to the poor — 23 and how blessed is anyone not offended by me!”

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

22 Jesus sends the disciples of John back to him with a response of what he was doing but lets John decide for himself based off of what Jesus was doing to decide whether He was the Christ, God can shows us who we are but we need to accept Him ourselves as who He is, others can share with us who He is but we have to follow Him ourselves.

23 Jesus had done so much during His short ministry. We don’t want to stand against the Lord. We are most blessed to have Jesus with us.

Let’s remember what’s going on here, John has sent these men to confirm that John had fulfilled his work on announcing the Messiah. Jesus answered by quoting Ias 35:5, 6 and asked the  messengers to confirm that the prophecy had been fulfilled.

Vs 23 was to give John courage to face it was about to come to John. John’s time was up and he was about be  martyred.

You might want to add to that John's disciples most likely did not believe that Christ was the promised Messiah. Verse 23 could also have been directed towards those messengers.
