IS THE LAW THEN CONTRARY TO THE PROMISES OF GOD?

But Jesus answering said to him, "Permit [it] at this time; for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he permitted Him.(Matt. 3:15 ) For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God [did]: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and [as an offering] for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.(Rom. 8:3, 4 ) I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart." (Psa. 40:8 )
"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. (Matt. 5:17, 18 ) The LORD was pleased for His righteousness' sake To make the law great and glorious. (Isa. 42:21 ) "For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses [that] of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matt. 5:20 )
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. (Rom. 10:4 )
Is the Law then contrary to the promises of God? May it never be! For if a law had been given which was able to impart life, then righteousness would indeed have been based on law. (Galatians 3:21)

From Paul’s teachings the law shows us the need for the promise.

No!

It is the Jews in the flesh that worketh the Law of Moses unto righteousness to please GOD, is in contrary to the promise of GOD through LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Romans 10:

1. Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to GOD for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2. For I bear them record *that they have a zeal of GOD, but not according to knowledge. - Gal. 1:14
3. For they being ignorant of *GOD's righteousness, and going about to establish their own *righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of GOD. - Rom. 1:17 - Phil. 3:9
4. For *CHRIST is the end of the Law for righteousness to every one that believeth. - Matt. 5:17; Gal. 3:24; Gal. 4:5

And this include from the beginning Jews, to the disowned Jews who became Gentiles, who in the flesh worketh their known law unto righteousness to please their gods of idols instead, not knowing themselves of the false gods deceptions, which have deceive them since their forefathers. Moreover, since their forefather who knew something about the only true GOD, but denied HIS existence until their descendants already worldwide scattered. And who were without the knowledge nor understanding of the only true GOD, nor seeked periodically. And likewise GOD have not revealed to them since, until Salvation through LORD JESUS CHRIST came to the whole world. That is only by GOD's free gift, by grace and through faith, they have come to believe (even to the remnant of Jews under the Law of Mose were too chosen by grace). Therefore the Gentile's denial, deception and law were as follow;

Romans 1:
[At the end of each verse are read along references for Scripture quote marked ' * ', and as follow]

16. For I not ashamed of the Gospel of CHRIST: for it is the power of GOD unto Salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek(Gentiles).
17. For therein is the righteousness of GOD revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, *The just shall live by faith. - Hab. 2:4; Gal. 3:11
18. *For the wrath of GOD is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold(suppress) the truth in unrighteousness. - Acts 17:30
19. Because *that which may be known of GOD is manifest in them; for *GOD hath sheweth it unto them. - Acts 14:17; !7:24 - John 1:9
20. For *the invisible of things of HIM from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even HIS Eternal power and GODHEAD; so that they are without excuse: - Job 12:7-9; Ps. 19:1-6; Jer. 5:22
21. Because that, when they knew GOD, they glorified HIM not as GOD, neither were thankful; but *became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. - 2 Kings 17:15; Jer. 2:5; Eph. 4:17
22. *Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. - 1 Cor. 1:20
23. And changed the GLORY of the *uncorruptible GOD into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. - 1 Tim. 1:17
24. Wherefore GOD also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: - Lev. 18:22
25. Who changed the truth of GOD *into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the CREATOR, who is blessed for ever. Amen. - Is. 44:20; Jer. 10:14
26. For this cause GOD gave them up unto *vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: - Lev. 18:22; Eph. 5:12
27. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the women, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly(shameful), and receiving in themselves that recompense(penalty) of their error which was meet(due).
28. And even as they did not like to retain GOD in their knowledge, GOD gave them over to a reprobate(debased) mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30. Backbiters, haters of GOD, despiteful(violent), proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31. Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable(unforgiving), unmerciful:
32. Who *knowing the judgement(righteous judgement) of GOD, that they which commit such things *are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. - Rom. 2:2 - Rom. 6:21

Romans 2:

14. (For when the Gentiles, which have not the Law, do by nature the things contained in the Law, these, having not the Law, are Law unto themselves:
15. Which shew the *work of the Law written in their hearts, their *conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another: ) - 1 Cor. 5:1 - Acts 24:25

" to the disowned Jews who became Gentiles,"' where do you come up with this stuff? Some Jews have been cut off but that does not make them Gentiles. There has and will always be a remnant who will be working for the salvation of those who have fallen away.

Romans 1

1 Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, 2 which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy Scriptures, 3 concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, 4 who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord, 5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name's sake, 6 among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ; 7 to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world. 9 For God, whom I serve in my spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, is my witness as to how unceasingly I make mention of you, 10 always in my prayers making request, if perhaps now at last by the will of God I may succeed in coming to you. 11 For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; 12 that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other's faith, both yours and mine. 13 I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that often I have planned to come to you (and have been prevented so far ) so that I may obtain some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles. 14 I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish. 15 So, for my part, I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

The Word of Faith Brings Salvation

Romans 10
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation. 2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge. 3 For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. 5 For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness. 6 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: "DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, 'WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?' (that is, to bring Christ down ), 7 or 'WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead)." 8 But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, in your mouth and in your heart "-that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED." 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED." 14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? 15 How will they preach unless  they are sent? Just as it is written, "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!" 16 However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, "LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR REPORT?" 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. 18 But I say, surely they have never  heard, have they? Indeed they have; "THEIR VOICE HAS GONE OUT INTO ALL THE EARTH, AND THEIR WORDS TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD." 19 But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they? First Moses says, "I WILL MAKE YOU JEALOUS BY THAT WHICH IS NOT A NATION, BY A NATION WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING WILL I ANGER 20 And Isaiah is very bold and says, "I WAS FOUND BY THOSE WHO DID NOT SEEK ME, I BECAME MANIFEST TO THOSE WHO DID NOT ASK FOR ME." 21 But as for Israel He says, "ALL THE DAY LONG I HAVE STRETCHED OUT MY HANDS TO A DISOBEDIENT AND OBSTINATE PEOPLE."

Israel Is Not Cast Away

Romans 11
1 I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel? 3 "Lord, THEY HAVE KILLED YOUR PROPHETS, THEY HAVE TORN DOWN YOUR ALTARS, AND I ALONE AM LEFT, AND THEY ARE SEEKING MY LIFE." 4 But what is the divine response to him? "I HAVE KEPT for Myself SEVEN THOUSAND MEN WHO HAVE NOT BOWED THE KNEE TO BAAL." 5 In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God's gracious choice. 6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace. 7 What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened; 8 just as it is written, "GOD GAVE THEM A SPIRIT OF STUPOR, EYES TO SEE NOT AND EARS TO HEAR NOT, DOWN TO THIS VERY DAY." 9 And David says, "LET THEIR TABLE BECOME A SNARE AND A TRAP, AND A STUMBLING BLOCK AND A RETRIBUTION TO THEM. 10 "LET THEIR EYES BE DARKENED TO SEE NOT, AND BEND THEIR BACKS FOREVER ." 11 I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous. 12 Now if their transgression is riches for the world and their failure is riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be! 13 But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch  then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, 14 if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. 15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are too. 17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree, 18 do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in." 20 Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; 21 for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either. 22 Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God's kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off. 23 And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these who are the natural * branches be grafted into their own olive tree? 25 For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery -so * that you will not be wise in your own estimation -that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; 26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB." 27 "THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS." 28 From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God's choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; 29 for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. 30 For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, 31 so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy. 32 For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all. 33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! 34 For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR? 35 Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN? 36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.

Brethren, when we remember the linage of the Jews from Adam and Eve until JESUS, whose ancestors GOD have been communing with and made covenants, the house of Jacob from Shem the elder son of Noah. From them many descendants were excluded who became Gentiles.

Noah had three sons Shem, Ham and Jabeth, with wives after the flood, to replenish the earth and bring it to subdue once again. GOD's covenant was through the elder son Shem, and from whom came Abraham.

And where the other sons and their descendants, basically we know example, became Russia and Africa, and etc..

And then what about Esau born of Isaac and Rebekah, whose descants were the Edomite...?

And these are the ones became the Gentiles, i am referring to...

7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
