In Genesis 1 the Hebrew word used for God is elohiym (Strong's Number: 430) it is plural but sometimes is used in the singular.
Looking at verses 1 and 26 it appears to be uses as the plural in this chapter.

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

This fits well with

John 1:1-3 1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2. He was in the beginning with God.
3. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

where Theos to describe two beings in one. Genesis 1  and John 1 fit like a glove but you never hear it spoken of.

The Bible has no conflict in it ( excluding the NWT ) . For example the Father and the Holy Spirit as one, who is the Father :“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.”

Strangely the JW’s Bible (NWT) translates your verses in line with the NAS. Why can’t they see it? THEY ARE A CULT.
