Ephesians 2:14-15

King James Version (KJV)

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Ephesians 2:14-15

New King James Version (NKJV)

Christ Our Peace

14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

14 Our peace is given by Jesus thru having the Holy Spirit which is also referred to as the Great Comforter. Jesus is also known as the Prince of Peace. He will end all wars when He returns. There should not be division in Christ, we would serve Christ should not be divided by how we serve Christ but come together in our differences. We are of the one church the church He came to form but man has divided the church the Lord built thru His death.

15 We are made thru Him by the Spirit and are flesh will start to go away, this will always be a struggle, the flesh and the spirit. There are many laws an ordinances that are in the word, we are found guilty by them but are forgiven by Christ. Jesus alone lived by the law and we now as believers live by Him.

Better to be a servant of the King than to be a king in hell.

Jesus alone is the soured of our peace. He has has torn down the wall in the temple (the law) that separates the gentiles from God. (symbolic) Matthew 27:50–51

15
Ceremonial law that separated the Jews and Gentiles was abolished (not moral law - Romans 2:14-15)
All are free to come to the Lord.
