I do not want to get into a big controversy here, I know that December 25 was not the day that Christ was born. We do not know the exact day that I believe December 25 was chosen because it coincided with Hanukkah.
What we are celebrating here is not giving gifts to each other, but we are celebrating the gift that was given to us which is the greatest gift that man could ever received from his Creator.
So with that said I wish you all a Merry Christmas as all of us Christians take this time to celebrate our free present given by grace, and not because it was something we deserved.
